The Cedar Quilt® is made by Japanese artisans using the "Itonuki" technique to pull out weft threads from the fabric, allowing the pure cotton fabric to take on a fluffy appearance. Because the process is gentle and beautiful, it is called "Hana o Sakasu" (blooming flowers). "Itonuki" is a highly focused manual thread-pulling process for artisans. A 30m fabric takes 2 hours and requires skilled artisans to complete.
The Cedar Quilt® uses 100% pure cotton (61% organic cotton), which is not only light, soft, breathable, and sweat-absorbent but also has the characteristics of "less linting" and "less pilling." The "good balance of breathability and warmth" and "no free lint floating in the air" make it more suitable for sensitive skin and babies. The three-dimensional fluffy texture also makes it the best comfort blanket for babies.
